Canada's Tajon Buchanan taken to hospital after lower leg injury
Canada winger Tajon Buchanan has been taken to hospital after sustaining a leg injury in training.
Canada Soccer confirmed Buchanan had sustained a lower leg injury in training on Tuesday and had been taken to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
A Canada Soccer statement added: “We will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
Buchanan, 25, has featured in all three of Canada's group stage matches at Copa America, starting the opening defeat to Argentina and being utilised from the bench during the victory over Peru and draw with Chile.
