Josh Sargent 'upset and frustrated' after USMNT's Copa America exit: 'It's easy to say bad things about us'
Josh Sargent admitted he was “shocked, upset and frustrated” by the USMNT's Copa America group stage exit which has left it “easy to say bad things” about the team.
The striker, who was brought on from the bench to play the final 25 minutes of last night's 1-0 defeat by Uruguay in Kansas City, cut a forlorn figure as he spoke to the media afterwards, but insisted squad unity is now key to moving forward.
Sargent, who made two substitute appearances during the tournament, arrived as an injury doubt after repeated ankle problems at his club Norwich City last season.
